average food taste and size, the desa cemerlang branch will get bigger portion and stronger taste if u like. this branch taste more delicate smaller a bit portion but better service

We came here thanks to 阿贤 show! Food is generally excellent. Their traditional hor fun, cold crab, desserts, fish are great! The prawn dish was average. We came twice in 2 days so that says a lot about the restaurant. Easy to get here via Grab even though it is located in a light industrial park.

The family just had dinner at this restaurant and we drove all the way from singapore. Wanted to try their teochew dishes for some time now. The restaurant seems to be located within an industrial area and parking was “park as you wish” type. It was clean and pretty big. There was this section where all the live seafood was located. The waitress was friendly and attentive. We ordered some very traditional teochew dishes and the braised platter and yam paste stood out. The rest was ok only. Price wise, reasonable but I guess I wouldn’t drive that far in future as there wasn’t any dishes that’s outstanding. But don’t get me wrong, their food was ok. Just not outstanding except for the braised stuff and yam paste in my opinion.

Clean environment.. services are good.. foods all taste good especially the teo chew steam fish! Taste good well blend.. but some of the braised duck meat are hard maybe… overall good. May visit!

For the price, the food is worth it. The yam duck was a nice experience to me. I enjoyed the semi-sweet savoury yam wrapping the duck and deep fried. The chai por hor fun was delicious. The orh nee was fabulous. Soup was tasty too. The oyster egg was different from the expected crusty deep fried version. Ok on the whole, and perhaps shld try other dishes if we come back.

My 3rd visit here I think. Some of the food is to my liking and some is not. Overall, the food is good. The fish this round was a bit dry and the prawn a bit overcooked. The olive fried beans was okay. Love their signature fried noodles, should try. My last visit I had their pumpkin yam dessert, it was really unique and nice. This round I tried their soy pudding, also recommended. The restaurant is located at the factory area. So parking is just where ever available outside without blocking others. They have quite a big space and they can cater big groups.

We were lucky to get a table by the kitchen even without a reservation, as we happened to be the first customers that day. The table was a little oily, and we had to ask the staff to clean it again. The utensils weren’t very clean either, and the tea had a slight chlorine taste but the food was really good. Every dish was authentic and true to the Teochew flavour. The restaurant is tucked away in an industrial area with limited parking, and it tends to get crowded with tour buses on weekends. It’s best to make a reservation and head there early to secure both a table and a parking spot. Despite the minor hygiene hiccups, we’d still say it’s worth visiting for the food alone especially if you appreciate authentic Teochew cooking done right.
